She just woke up from sleeping  

She wanted kai

So Ihenga and his kuri went hunting

The kuri and his was looking for food

Kuri and the Ihenga was looking for food and water

The kuri found a kiwi kuri did not know where it was going

The kuri got the kiwi and found a river

the kuri was waiting

The kuri put his mouth in the water and drank some water with some else

The kuri spoilt the eles out

So Ihenga went to Lake rotoiti and got some ika then they came back home

So they went back to the maori village

And they gave food to the queen

So they said that they went to Lake rotoiti  

Aria 5 birthday

On Saturday I was really happy. It was my little cousins birthday. Aria was 5 years old. It was in the weekend, there was lots of people.


Firstly we played pinata. We had 5 pinatas and theses were the shapes,pumpkin,basketball,dog,cat, happy birthday cake and 1 baseball bat. I was having lots of fun. We got a present that's wrapped up in a news paper. There was some music playing, you had to pass it around, when the music stopped on you, you can open it once. Then the things that come out. This is called´ pass it on´.


Secondly food at the 5th birthday party was yummy. We had a ki at 1pm we had crayfish,boil up,fried bread,fizzy drinks we had lots of food there. At 3pm we had the cake, we sang happy birthday to Aria, the cake was big . It was so much fun there was lots of people, it was a awesome.


Finally presents for kids. All of the kids had to go in the kitchen, we had to line up in a boy line and girls line. We got a presents each. We got 5 toys and lots of lollies and chocolate.

Last day of boxing

WALT: learning how to box using the 3 commandments:

RESPECT

I will have respect for myself,my coach my peers and the sport of boxing.

DISCIPLINE

I will have the discipline to turn up to every boxing session and give my 100%.

SAFETY

I will not cause harm to others and only practice boxing in a safe environment under the guidance of a coach.

On Monday it was a beautiful day we had our last day for boxing with Pax . We had lots of fun we did the combo. We had great practises with Pax. we burned off sweat because there  was so much Heat. I was pleased to have Pax coming to this school. I want to learn more boxing moves.

Tuakana teina day

Yesterday on Wednesday September 20th 2018

WALT Ako/learning from each other and learning with each other.

We made our earthquake houses on tuakana teina day we had fun lots of fun. In Room 3 our buddy class we worked together. We used a milk box,paint,scissors and decorated it. We had to get a pencil and a piece of paper. We had to draw out our plan for our earthquake houses after we are finished we have to get our milk box. We have to get our milk box and get our planning paper the copy of it. When you’re finished you can paint your earthquake house when your finished you can decorate your earthquake house. Then we tested our one out.

Fabulous magic snow

Fabulous magic snow on a Wednesday morning, all the students in Room 8 had to take part of a science experiment. Polymer is a powder that comes from babys nappies.
Firstly, Ms Bracey told us the history of the magic snow wow. Ms Bracey told us how old you have to be just to do the fun magic snow. The red writing WARNING is for you to read carefully.
Secondly, we did the science experiment. After Ms Bracey gave us the magic snow packet. I thought there was already snow in the packet.When Ms Bracey told us to get the scissors,art stick,plastic cup.
Lastly when Ms Bracey told us to open the packet. We had to put the magic snow in the plastic cup then Ms Bracey will poured Some water in the Plastic cup. then we seen a puff ball Then you can play with the magic snow. then my table made a little snow castle.
Interesting fact if you eat the magic snow you will spew and get sick. You have to be 5 and above to play with the fun magic snow.
